airmid healthgroup is an ISO/IEC 17025:2005 INAB accredited testing laboratory Reg. no. 284T for a defined scope of activity. Our team are committed to operate its Management & Technical System in accordance with the requirements of ISO/IEC 17025:2005, and to make every effort to improve both the system and level of service it provides to its customers.

ISO 17025 is the global standard for the technical competence of calibration and testing laboratories. As a laboratory accredited to ISO 17025 AHG has incorporated an overall system for technical and quality management. It also demonstrates the laboratories capabilities in areas such as trained and qualified staff, functional and calibrated equipment, standardized methods, and controlled environmental conditions. This results in superior laboratory practices and customer service. We have implemented the ISO 17025 quality system in our laboratory and have been fully accredited since May 2011.
Our Quality Management Statement: Management is committed to being very aggressive in our attitude towards the quality of our testing, in servicing our customers, good professional practices and customer service, primarily since we want to be ranked as the "best" in our business. Our employees remain clearly focused on the Quality System so they may effectively implement the policies and procedures in their casework and quality control functions.
INAB Accreditation
The Irish National Accreditation Board (INAB) is the national body with responsibility for Accreditation in Ireland. In January 2010, the European Commission was notified by the Department of Enterprise, Trade and Employment (now the DETI) as being the sole accreditation body for Ireland in line with regulation EC/765/2008. INAB ensures international acceptance of issued certificates through its Multilateral Agreements (MLAs) with the European and worldwide accreditation body organisations.
INAB is an active member of The European co-operation for Accreditation (EA). It develops and promotes accreditation criteria and guidelines which will ensure harmonised performance of national accreditation bodies throughout the European economic area.
A framework to support international trade through the removal of technical barriers is managed by IAF – International Accreditation Forum and ILAC – International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation. More than forty countries throughout the world are signatories to the Multilateral Agreements of IAF and ILAC, including USA, Canada, Japan, China, India, South Africa, Australia and Ireland. This allows acceptance of tests, inspection, calibration and conformity worldwide.
External Quality Control
airmid healthgroup participates in an extensive Inter Laboratory Comparison Study to complement our in-house quality assurance programs. This is an integral part of the external quality control system. We continually work to enhance and develop our quality systems to ensure the most efficient service possible.
Internal Quality Control
All accredited test methods performed by airmid healthgroup incorporate internal quality control programmes, based on quality control samples and system suitability checks. As part of the ongoing accreditation to ISO/IEC 17025:2005 all of airmid healthgroup technical and quality systems are audited to verify conformance with the quality management system and ISO 17025:2005 on a regular basis.
