Sick Building Syndrome
Sick building syndrome is a condition relating to poor indoor air quality. It may result from flaws in HVAC systems and forms of moulds. Symptoms include non specific hypersensitivity. Its occurrence may be avoided by adherence to the standard outlined by the American Society of Heating Refrigerating and Air Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE), which advises to provide a minimum of 20 cfm of outdoor air per person in an office space.
